30 Days of Thanks :: Sloppy Joes

I am trying something that I hope will get me into habit of blogging a little more regular. I am pretty sure after I am finished with this project I won’t be blogging everyday but this is my attempt to at least get me in the cycle of being regular at it. So, for the next thirty days I am going to attempt to get something out on the blog each day. It may come out in the mornings, on my lunch break, or in the evening. Whenever I post I will answer the following question. I am thankful for?

I am calling this little blogging adventure 30 Days of Thanks (only fitting that it is November) and each day will be something I am thankful for. You may want to join in and post to your blog each day along with me. So after you finish reading, give it a try. Also, after you post to your blog shoot out a tweet with the hashtag #30DaysofThanks. Here we Go…

I am thankful for Sloppy Joes. If you have ever had one you know why they are called that. The messier the better. I have been eating Sloppy Joes (as we called them as a child) since, well, before I can remember. It is seriously my favorite meal, with fries of course. My wife made some tonight for dinner. I often wonder, what would my life be like without the messiness of a Sloppy Joe. It surely wouldn’t be as good…at least dinner time wouldn’t be. Here is a little bit of fact for you from my life. My wife was inquiring about what I would want for a birthday dinner a few years ago, yep…you guessed it. I voted for Sloppy Joes. Maybe Chanelle will post a recipe on her blog so you can make ‘em…

Now that you’ve read one of the random things I am thankful for, it’s your turn…Ready, Set, Go!

What are you thankful for?

  1. I will always remember the 1st year we were married and I wanted to make you a wonderful birthday meal. I asked you what you wanted and you told me “Sloppy Joes” I almost died!! Here I was, offering to cook you your favorite meal… whatever your heart desired… and you tell me sloppy joes… that’s barely even cooking to me!! 🙂
